Original video description on Youtube:

John Scofield (born December 26, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio), often referred to as "Sco," is an American jazz guitarist and composer, who has played and collaborated with Miles Davis, Joe Henderson, Charles Mingus, Joey Defrancesco, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, Pat Martino, Mavis Staples, Phil Lesh, Billy Cobham, Medeski Martin & Wood, George Duke, Jaco Pastorius, John Mayer, and many other well known artists. At ease in the bebop idiom, Scofield is also well versed in jazz fusion, funk, blues, soul, and other forms of modern American music.

In 2005, Scofield released the CD, "That's What I Say: John Scofield Plays Ray Charles" which featured an all-star lineup of featured artists. At the time, many artists were jumping on the Ray Charles tribute bandwagon, however this CD was considered to be the cream of the crop and garnered many awards and 5-star reviews.

This track, "What'd I Say," features the likes of Aaron Neville, Mavis Staples, Dr. John, Warren Haynes, John Mayer and Charles' saxophonist David "Fathead" Newman."
