Hun (Korea) | Irish Flute | Inci (Philippines)
I hope you'll like today's instruments.
Ireland, The Philippines and Korea are our countries this time.
I am not sure if this is a real Inci flute. It is very hard to find videos of that instrument. It is also a bamboo Philippine flute anyway and it sounds pretty good.

Wonderful Chill Out Music -- Ask The Mountains - Vangelis [HD]
If you like mountains and music you're gonna love this video.
Photo: El Pedraforca (Catalonia)
Amazing clips from BBC Documentary 'Planet Earth', Episode 'Mountains'
Music: Vangelis & Stina Nordenstam - Ask The Mountains, Voices Album, 1995
Lyrics:
Don't come after
Don't come after
Don't come after
Come
Come
Come
Come
Don't come after
Don't come after
Please don't follow me along
When you read this I'll be gone
Ask the mountains
Springs and fountains
Why couldn't this go on?
Couldn't our happiness go on?
Ask the sun that lightens up the sky
When the night gives in, to tell you why
Ask the mountains
Wild woods, highlands
Ask the green in the woods and the trees
The cold breeze coming in from the sea
Springs and fountains
Ask the mountains
Springs and fountains
Ask the mountains
Springs and fountains
Ask the mountains
Springs and fountains
Ask the mountains
Ask the sun that lightens up the sky
When the night gives in, to tell you why
Tell the mountains
Springs and fountains
Why couldn't this go on?
Couldn't our happiness go on?
Why couldn't this go on?
Couldn't our happiness go on?

The History of Music
THE HISTORY OF MUSIC
Description:
A HANDBOOK AND GUIDE FOR STUDENTS
BY WALDO SELDEN PRATT
1907
"The present book is...meant to be distinctly a book of reference for students rather than a literary or critical survey of a few salient aspects of the subject, or a specialist's
report of original research. Aiming at a certain degree of encyclopaedic fullness, it brings together facts and conclusions from a great variety of sources. Much labor has been expended in grouping the material in such a way as to give a systematic impression of the enormous field in view. In many cases somewhat full lists and summaries of details are given, partly to provide means for easy reference, partly to suggest how multifarious are the facts, and sometimes to indicate upon what sort
of data are based the general statements that are offered. At every point an effort is made to emphasize the leading tendencies or movements of musical advance, referring to particular styles and composers as illustrations."

Fujara (Slovakia) | Gemshorn (Germany) | Hocchiku (Japan)
Just a comment about video #2. The instrument played on the video is supposed to be a bass gemshorn (it really looks like a horn...I guess it is actually a horn).
I found a good video of a real Gemshorn... but it included a bagpipe... who needs bagpipes?

Stand by me - Best versions -
According to the documentary History of Rock 'n' Roll, Ben E. King had no intention of recording the song himself when he wrote it.[1] King had written the song for The Drifters, who passed on the chance to record it. It was not until after the "Spanish Harlem" recording session that he had some studio time left over. The session's producers, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, asked if he had any more songs and King played "Stand by Me" on the piano for them. They liked it and called all the studio musicians back in to record it. The song was not released on an album until it had been out as a single for... Read more.
